Many of us are realizing our worth in our homes, careers, and intimate lives. We have come to value life differently while drawing closer to our family. I know that I cannot speak for the minority, but the majority of my soul-sisters and close sisters around me are crushing their goals.

Welcome to A Redeemer's Heart. This is a space of truth. Not all truths hurt. Some are sweet, profound and life changing. It's always important to find your truth and glean in it.
Deeper than Hair
2020 has come like a thief in the night. It has bombarded our sense of normal and forced us to level up in ways we have never thought of. It has stolen our comfort and caused us to have one of the most productive, profound years of our lives.
Many of us have birthed businesses or have been propelled to the next level. Some of us have found new and exciting interests. Many of us are realizing our worth in our homes, careers, and intimate lives. We have come to value life differently while drawing closer to our family. I know that I cannot speak for the minority, but the majority of my soul-sisters and close sisters around me are crushing their goals. We are putting in the extra hours and willpower to plow forward when it seems that the entire world is against our very black existence.
We, Black Women, are the most disrespected, disregarded women in America. Instead of focusing on this very obvious social disparity, we choose to focus on walking in our purpose. It can be tough and exhausting building up the women in our circle. Building up the young women we are raising to be strong, courageous, and respected. We are striving to love our black men and protect their peace. We want our sons to know their worth. I see you, I respect you, I pray for you. I am right here with you. I am here when doing right seems to feel so close to wrong, compared to those in the world around you. Continue to love, continue to cover your sisters and brothers in love. Continue to press forward in your journey. God truly rewards faithfulness.
I tell you, Queen, every ounce of your exhaustion is worth it. You will walk in purpose. You will help others to walk in theirs. You will break through. You will overcome. You are like Esther: strong, courageous and in the right place at the right time.
I am committed to walking in my purpose every day. It is my greatest hope that by walking boldly in my purpose that my love is felt like a strong peace through the night by my dear family. It is my hope that walking in my purpose shows how gentle and genuine God’s love is to every heart that I touch behind the chair. It is my greatest hope that I am a direct representation of God’s love in my family, career, and community.
This is so much deeper than hair. This is an answered prayer.
Love and Light Queens!
